A terrified terrier has been found locked in a bin cupboard at a block of flats.
The terrier cross-bread was found last week after passers-by heard him barking as they walked passed the flats in Garfield Road, in Ponders End.
He had no chip or collar and nobody local recognised him. He has been called Garfield after the street where he was found.
RSPCA Inspector Kate Ford, who was called to the incident, said: “He was absolutely terrified but in good general condition.
“We don’t know if he was dumped there deliberately or was lost and hiding in there and somebody locked him in accidentally. I have put posters up and spoken to the local stray dogs team but no one has heard anything.”
Anyone who recognises the dog or has any information is asked to call the RSPCA on 0300 123 8018.
