The Enfield flag will be flying at half-mast for the rest of the week to mark the tragedy in Tunisia last week.
The flag outside Enfield council’s civic centre, in Silver Street, Enfield, will sit at half-mast following the deaths on the African coast where it is believed more than 20 brits have lost their lives.
A nationwide minute’s silence will also be held this Friday.
Enfield council Leader, Cllr Doug Taylor, said: “This was an abhorrent and cowardly attack on holiday makers completely unable to defend themselves.
“Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and we share the commitment and resolve of all right minded people from every part of our community to ensure that those who live by the gun and the bomb will not intimidate and cow us into bowing to their twisted ideology.”
