A church will celebrate its 400th anniversary this weekend.
The Weld Chapel was first built 400 years ago and was the second place of worship built in the area after All Saints Edmonton, in 1135.
The original chapel was demolished in 1861 and Christ Church Southgate was built at the site on The Green, Southgate.
Sunday, May 24, marks the church's official anniversary and will see a parish party take place between 10am and 2pm.
