Police have appealed for information to trace a white van in connection with the Hatton Garden burglary.

The vehicle was seen in and around the area of Hatton Garden over the Easter weekend when the robbery took place.

Officers have released CCTV images of the white van, registration DU53 VNG, that they would like to find as part of their investigation.

Yesterday the Metropolitan Police Service announced it had arrested seven men in connection with the heist, four of whom are from Enfield.

The four men, aged 67, 74, 58 and 48, were arrested along with a 59-year-old from east London and 76 and 50-year-old men from Dartford.

Detective superintendent Craig Turner said: "Did you see anyone loading or unloading a white van in the Hatton Garden area over the Easter bank holiday?

"So far we haven't managed to recover the van yet. Have you seen a van matching this description and registration since the burglary in Hatton Garden or do you know where it is now?"
