Enfield's parks will get £2 million investments over the next year.
Enfield Borough Council will spend the money on improving children’s play areas, paths and fencing in the borough’s open spaces.
The work is set to be completed by March 2016.
Councillor Daniel Anderson, cabinet member for environment, said: "Our parks are already welcoming havens for everyone to enjoy, but this significant investment will improve them further and give children in Enfield two million reasons to smile when they pay our playgrounds a visit."
