His mother, Sharon Campbell, told the Enfield Independent that she has been blown away by the troupe’s performances since his joined the troupe 18months ago.

She said: “He was so nervous but pumped at the same time to perform on Britain’s Got Talent. I have been blown away by the work of everyone in IMD Legion, they are hoping to take it to a whole new level.”

The troupe was brought together in 2010 by choreographer Omar Ansah-Awuahlater were backing dancers for Fleur East in The X Factor last year.

Ms Campbell added: “You’ll have to watch on Saturday to find out how they get on, that’s all I can say.

“To train in East London five times a week and maintain good grades at school has shown his commitment and I am so proud of him. Some of their performances have brought me to tears.”

The group are hoping to progress through their audition in front of judges Simon Cowell, Aleasha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams and have aspirations to win the competition.
