A man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed several times in the street.

The man, believed to be in his mid 20s, was stabbed near the junction of Sweet Briar Grove and Chalfont Road, Edmonton.

Police were called to the scene yesterday at 4.25pm and the man was taken to an East London hospital.

His wounds are reported not to be life threatening.

The incident happened just two streets away from the fatal stabbing of Khiry Ford, in Haselbury Road, on November 30, 2014.

No arrests have been made as of yet and enquiries continue.
