People hoping to get fit can take part in unusual new activities at free sessions next month.
Boxfit and hot yoga are being offered by Enfield Borough Council in a bid to get people taking up new fitness classes.
Boxfit will be offered at Lea Valley High School, in Bullsmoor Lane, on Thursday, March 5, along with Introduction to Insanity at the Civic Centre.
Hot yoga will be offered at the Training Temple, in Southbury Road, Enfield on Tuesday, March 10.
Cllr Rohini Simbodyal, cabinet member for culture, sport, youth and public health, said: “These sessions are a great way for residents to try a new fitness regime completely free of charge, they’ll get your blood pumping, your heart beating and help you burn off calories.
“This scheme is a brilliant way of encouraging residents to try before they buy, and find out if they like a type of activity before they sign up for a full course.”
