The people responsible for keeping Enfield's streets clean have won an award for their work.
Enfield Borough Council received a five star award at the Clean Britain Awards for its efforts in keeping the borough tidy.
Cabinet member for environment and community safety, Councillor Chris Bond, said: “We continue to invest in street cleaning because clean streets benefits communities in several ways.
"A clean, safe and hygienic environment plays an important role in fostering a sense of civic pride and reducing the likelihood of antisocial behaviour.
"A clean environment can also attract and sustain increased levels of commerce and tourism, which are vital to our local economies and in helping to sustain local businesses. Enfield is a pleasant, clean and green borough and we’re determined to keep it that way.”
