A man was left in a critical condition after he was apparently hit by a car.
The man, believed to be in his early 30s, was found with multiple injuries on Meridian Avenue, close to Picketts Lock Lane flyover, in Enfield, in the early hours of Saturday, September 13.
Officers believe the man was hit by a car and that the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Henson, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "I am appealing for anyone who saw what happened on Saturday morning to contact us. Did you see or hear a collision? Did you witness a vehicle speeding away from the area?
"It is important that we trace the vehicle and driver so that we can establish exactly what happened."
London Ambulance Services were called to the scene at 2.20am and have described the man’s condition as critical.
