The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police came to Palmers Green today to face tough questions from the over 50s.
Bernard Hogan-Howe visited the Ruth Winston Centre in Green Lanes to greet members of the community and find out what issues residents believe need to be addressed in the borough.
Members of the centre, which provides support to people aged 50 or over, grilled the police chief about introducing minimum sentences for people caught carrying knives and the need to crack down on binge drinking.
