Man arrested in connection with the murder of Teon Palmer

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Teon Palmer.

Yesterday police arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of murder of Mr Palmer who was stabbed to death in Montagu Road, Lower Edmonton.

The man has since been bailed to return to a police station at a later date in December pending further enquiries.

Police were called at 11.10pm to reports of an assault, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest into Mr Palmer’s death was opened and adjourned at North London Coroners Court in Barnet on Tuesday.

All four tyres of Mr Palmer’s blue Vauxhall Astra were slashed moments before he was stabbed and a gang of up to seven black men wearing hooded tops or jackets were seen running from the scene.

Police believe the group knew the car belonged to Mr Palmer.
