An MP is calling on creative schoolchildren to enter his annual Christmas card competition.
Edmonton MP Andy Love will shortly send letters to primary schools in the borough asking for pupils to design his official Christmas card.
The winning design will be made into a card and sent to 2,500 people.
The entries will be judged by the politician and the Enfield Independent on Friday, November 30.
Last year, nearly 2,000 pupils from 15 schools took part – with every pupil receiving a certificate.
The MP said: “My Christmas card competition is something I look forward to every year. The children have such fantastic imaginations and it’s always hard to decide on the winning design.
“Every year the competition grows in popularity so I’m looking forward to another bumper set of entries this season.”
The politician, who launched the competition in 1997, will present the winner with a prize and a framed copy of their winning design at their school on Friday, December 7.
