Two schoolboys hand-delivered more than £600 to a charity shop yesterday.
Reiss Chapman and Connor Lennon, both 14, organised a non-uniform day at Enfield Grammar in The Town which raised £610.16.
The students and deputy headteacher David Alder donated the money to Cancer Research UK in The Town.
Shop manager Naimish Baxi thanked the boys for organising the day, and said: “It is very nice of them and it will go a long way towards helping us beat cancer."
Mr Baxi, who has worked in the shop for seven years, would like to organise for the boys to visit a research lab to see where their money will be spent.
