The police van crashed yesterday afternoon
A police officer who suffered minor injuries from a crash in Bullsmoor yesterday has been released from hospital.
The policeman was in a marked police van when it crashed just before 1.10pm on A10 northbound at the junction with Bullsmoor Lane.
Paramedics pulled up in front of the van, which was damaged on the left hand side, before taking him to hospital for treatment.
He was released yesterday with bruises.
Another officer was in the van but escaped unharmed.
Two other cars – a blue Ford and a black Audi had also crashed just metres away from the incident.
