Anti-violence conference to run in Palmers Green church

A conference to address violence against women will go ahead in Palmers Green today.
The meeting is organised by newspapers Asian Voice and Gujarat Samachar as well as Enfield Saheli – a female support group predominantly for Asian women.
Speakers at the meeting, which runs between 10.30pm and 3pm in Trinity at Bowes Methodist Church in Bowes Road, will discuss the violence against women and girls, elderly abuse, forced marriages and honour killings.
