Police called to reports of armed gang in Southgate

Armed police were called to Southgate yesterday after a woman claimed she was being stalked by an armed gang.
The driver believed people following her in a Vauxhall Astra were armed with a gun.
She called police just before 5.05pm, who traced the car in Little Park Gardens in Enfield Town. However, no firearm was found.
Instead, the driver of the Vauxhall Astra was given a court summons for driving with no insurance.
A court date is yet to be decided.
