The Mayor of Enfield will speak about her past in a presentation next week to mark Black History Month.
Councillor Kate Anolue, who was appointed in May, will talk about her role as a Nigerian Chieftain in her home town of Nanka, Anambra State, in Nigeria.
The free presentation, on Tuesday, is one of many events organised in the borough to celebrate the annual Black History Month.
The hour-long speech is due to start at 6.30pm in Enfield Town Library in Church Street in Enfield Town.
