A gang member who “spread a trail of misery” has been handed an Anti Social Behaviour Order banning him from returning to Enfield.

Korey Marcel Lawrence, 18, and his family were evicted from their home in Ostell Crescent, Enfield Wash, in January before being relocated to Hackney.

The act was supported by Enfield Council, with a judge describing the family’s repeated antisocial behaviour as the worst he had come across.

He has been issued with an ASBO by the council and police in a bid to tackle the issues.

The order prevents the 18-year-old from affiliating with gangs, using a gun, possessing a gun, knife or blade, featuring in internet material which incites violence or promotes criminal activity.

He is also prevented from congregating in a public place with two or more people in a way that causes others to fear for their safety, being in the presence of drug dealers, possessing drug paraphernalia, or wearing a black or brown bandana.

The ASBO will last until September 7 2015 and if he breaches the terms, he could face up to five years in prison.

Enfield Council's Cabinet Member for Community Wellbeing and Public Health, Councillor Christine Hamilton, said: "Lawrence has spread a trail of misery and chaos in his wake and we will not tolerate his behaviour.

"Enfield Council and its partners in the police are determined to build a stronger, safer borough for all our residents and we will do everything we can to make sure individuals such as Lawrence need to know they have to behave or face the consequences.”
