Teenagers injured in unprovoked attack near Edmonton playground
12:29pm Tuesday 25th September 2012 in News By Hermione Wright
Two teenagers were injured after an unprovoked attack near a playground.
An 18-year-old woman was left with a broken jaw after being punched in the face near the play area in Osman’s Road, Edmonton, on September 11 at 11am.
A 13-year-old boy was hit across the arms and back with a large stick – possibly a tree branch, before being punched in the head.
A 17-year-old boy, who is known to the pair, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been bailed while police investigate.
Police are aware there were a lot of people in the area at the time and would like to speak to anyone with information.
