Burst water main closes North Circular in New Southgate

A burst water main closed the North Circular Road in New Southgate this morning, causing misery for morning commuters.

Police closed off the road in both directions at 6.30am to allow engineers to carry out emergency repairs between Bowes Road and Bounds Green Road.

The incidnet is causing severe delays in Wood Green, Bounds Green, Palmers Green and New Southgate, as well as in Friern Barnet.
