Woman in hospital following Palmers Green accident

A woman is in hospital with head injuries following a crash in Palmers Green.
The 53-year-old victim was rushed to the Royal London Hospital after the accident, which involved a car and a bike, at Ecclesbourne Gardens in Green Lanes.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 7.35am to treat the patient, arriving within three minutes.
The road is closed from Alderman’s Hill to North Circular Road at Clockhouse Interchange while police investigate.
Buses are being allowed through the police barrier to access the Wood Green depot.
Heavy traffic is forming through Palmers Green and Southgate as a result.
