1:36pm Tuesday 4th September 2012 in News By Hermione Wright
Sparks flew on Friday when four million volts of electricity were pumped through Enfield Town Park.
Performers The Lords of Lightning wowed the crowds with their thrilling lightning display, which lit up the park in Cecil Road.
Their dare-devil act was part of the free SHOWTIME festival, which saw music and dance performances in Enfield Town Park, Library Green and Enfield Town High Street.
The event, which ran between 4pm and 9pm, was part of the London 2012 Festival to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic games.
Acts including Signdance, an international touring company led by deaf and disabled artists, Brassroots, a brass-funk band, and a circus-themed travelling puppet show joined the line-up.
