Singers sought for Clay Hill community choir
3:20pm Thursday 30th August 2012 in News By Hermione Wright
Singers are sought for a new Clay Hill community choir.
The weekly choir, which will begin on September 21, is for men and women of all abilities.
It will be held in St Luke’s Church in Browning Road every Friday between 10.30am and 12pm.
Vocal coach Claire Stogden, who will run the choir, said: “We are not looking for experienced singers necessarily, but those who want to try something that’s fun, rewarding and good for you – regardless of age or ability.
“Community singing has made a lot of good press recently, and there is increasing evidence to support the emotional, physical, mental and social benefits for those who take part."
There is no need to book in advance and the first term is free.
