Man airlifted to hospital with burns from Edmonton Martin Close flat fire

A man was airlifted to hospital following a flat fire in Edmonton yesterday evening.
The 48-year-old man received burns from the fire in Martin Close and was taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital via air ambulance for treatment.
Three fire engines were called just after 5.05pm and spent just over half-an-hour extinguishing the fire.
The blaze damaged the first floor flat of the building.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
