Three women have been robbed outside Oakwood Underground station in just over a week.

A male suspected grabbed a woman’s handbag as she left the station at approximately 00.45am on Friday.

A passer-by shouted out and the man dropped the bag and made off empty handed.

A second victim was threatened with a knife on Thursday, August 2, at approximately 9.30pm. The victim handed over £15 to the suspect.

Just 45 minutes later, another woman was kicked to the floor by the suspect. Her phone broke during the attack but the man walked away without any property.

He is described as white, between 20 and 25 years old and 6ft tall. On Friday morning, he was wearing a grey over sized hoodie and dark blue jeans.

Police have increased patrols of uniformed and plain clothed officers in a bid to catch the man.
