The 21-year-old victim was approached by an unknown male along Dunholme Road near the junction with Sweet Briar Walk at approximately 5am.

Following an altercation with the man, who is described as possibly being of a Turkish appearance, he was stabbed.

He made his way home to Chalfont Road, which is just yards away from the scene of the crime to call the police and the London Ambulance Service.

The victim, who was in a stable condition, was taken to hospital as a priority with non-life threatening injuries.

Enfield Police are investigating and would like to speak to anyone with information.
