Thieves target elderly woman in distraction burglary in Ponders End

A 93-year-old woman was left without her handbag after she was burgled in her Ponders End home.

Enfield Police are seeking information about the distraction burglary in Orchard Road on July 23, which remains unsolved.

A man, described as black and approximately 5ft 4ins, knocked on the victim’s door and kept her talking while another man entered her house through the back garden and stole her handbag.
