Theatre star Maria Friedman treated lucky Enfield students to a two-hour singing workshop yesterday.
The actress, who found fame in roles including Roxie Hart in Chicago, visited foundation degree students studying performing arts at Chickenshed theatre in Chase Side Southgate.
The 52-year-old, who has won three Olivier Awards in her 16-year career, taught students breathing techniques to help with singing performances.
Susan Jamson, who works for Chickenshed, said: “We are absolutely thrilled she came. It was lovely and the students adored it.”
