Man arrested over Ponders End crash on A110 Southbury Road

A man has been arrested in connection with a crash in Ponders End that left a woman seriously injured in hospital.

The collision between a woman in her 40s and a car and truck at a crossing near the Tesco supermarket in Southbury Road just after 12pm today left her in a serious condition in hospital.

Enfield Police confirmed a man who was driving a car was arrested for dangerous driving, and the road has now reopened after being closed for investigations.
