Car fire closes A10 Great Cambridge Road in Enfield

A major road in Enfield is closed after a car overheated and caught fire earlier this afternoon.

The northbound carriageway of the A10 Great Cambridge Road is closed because of the blue Vauxhall’s fire, which has now been put out by firefighters, between the junctions with Southbury Road and Lincoln Road at just before 4pm.

The southbound carriageway was briefly shut but has since reopened. Bus routes 217, 231, and 377 have been diverted.
