Armed Forces Day parade in Enfield Town

Servicemen and women will march through Enfield Town this afternoon in an annual armed forces celebration.

Active members and veterans of the all the forces will join Enfield RAF Cadets, Boys Brigade, scouts and guides for the parade from Chase Side Primary School at 2.45pm to the Royal British Legion club in Holtwhite’s Hill.

The parade, which will be led by a band and standard bearers, will stop for a salute at 3pm in Market Square, Church Street, before continuing along Silver Street and Parsonage Lane.

Enfield Royal British Legion has invited the public for an afternoon buffet at the club following the parade.
