Edmonton A10 Great Cambridge Road crash causing delays

Queues have built up on an Edmonton road because of a car crash earlier this afternoon.

One lane of the southbound carriageway of the A10 Great Cambridge Road is blocked due to the crash at the junction with Church Street, with all traffic passing in the next lane.

The delays caused by this accident pale into insignificance compared to the disaster of Thursday evening's peak hour traffic. One lane blocked and slow traffic due to broken down vehicle on the A406 Walthamstow Avenue ,North Circular Road, Eastbound at Advent Way aka Cooks Ferry Interchange, initially caused congestion to A10 Great Cambridge Road , A10/A406, Great Cambridge Interchange eventually tailed back to "Brent Cross" with buses on route w6 resorting to operating a shuttle between Southgate LUL and A105 Green Lanes, Hedge Lane. When passengers arriving at either Southgate LUL or Palmers Green FCC stations eventually found out it was a case of walking home
