Former glamour model Linda Lusardi drew a raffle at an Enfield hospital yesterday to raise money for cancer research.

Linda Lusardi, who was born in Palmers Green and recently appeared in the television soap Emmerdale, was at The Kings Oak Hospital, in The Ridgeway, for a strawberry tea event organised by staff and patients to raise cash for Breast Cancer Care.

She said: “Breast Cancer Care is such a wonderful charity and is renowned to help all patients diagnosed with cancer on a very practical level.”

The hospital holds a support group for breast cancer patients once a month to offer support and advice.
