Saturday sees Enfield Town face another local derby with a trip to Cheshunt and Steve Newing is expecting the hosts to provide stern opposition.
When the two sides met in September they played out a 1-1 draw but victory for Town would mean they cannot be caught in second place.
Town are still in with a chance of winning the division but a victory for rivals Leiston tomorrow would see them crowned champions.
Newing has stressed his side will continue to push for the top spot until it is no longer possible to achieve and so will be sending his side out for three points when they return to their former landlords tomorrow.
“It is another local derby and Cheshunt will be right up for it. We were there at the start of the season and we will always be grateful for that,” Newing explained.
“They are building for next season and from what I hear they will be competitive next season.”
