A MAN has been found dead in a car on the edge of Trent Park.
Police cordoned off Ferny Hill this morning at around 9.20am after finding the dead man with a gas bottle in his car.
Firefighters have been called in and are dealing with the gas bottle before police and paramedics can investigate the man's death further.
Part of Cockfosters Road was initially shut down as police treated it as a “chemical incident”, but the cordon has now been reduced to just Ferny Hill bordering the north side of Trent Park.
Police say the death is being treated as unexplained at present, and no further details of the man have been released.
