Church prepares for Christmas carol world record attempt

A CHURCH in Bowes is hoping to be part of a world record breaking attempt on the biggest ever carol concert.

Trinity at Bowes Methodist Church is one of many churches across the UK taking part in the attempt to get more than 15,000 people singing carols at the same time.

Premier Christian Radio has organised the event, which is part of a wider campaign to promote the Christian message behind Christmas.

The carol concert at the church in Palmerston Road is on Sunday, December 18, starting at 6pm.
