Schoolfriend records tribute CD for tragic Livia

BUDDING musician Senna has struck a chord with the family of Livia Galli-Atkinson after recording some songs in her memory.

Livia, 16, died last year after being struck by a car in Windmill Hill, Enfield.

The driver Sudhaker Seghal was fined £2,000 and ordered to pay court costs after being convicted of dangerous driving.

Now her schoolfriend, 17-year-old Senna, real name Sina Daneshvar, has recorded a CD of songs inspired by her life.

It is the culmination of a project which started when he wrote a poem on the day Livia died.

Her mother Giulietta Galli-Atkinson asked him to write a song and was so impressed, she arranged for him to record a studio album of his material.

Senna said: "Giulietta is well behind it and she loves the songs. When I write the songs, I enjoy it and I hope the audience does too."

Mrs Galli-Atkinson said: "We think he is amazingly clever and we are delighted to help him focus on a commercial career.

"They are poignant, exciting and talented dedications to the memory of his friend, our daughter, and they highlight the long arm effect of such tragedies on behalf of himself and Livia's young friends."

The main track is entitled Beautiful But Blue, which Senna performed at the memorial concert For Livia With Love last October.

There are two CDs, costing £5 and £6, with different covers and songs on them.

They are available from: 21 The Coppice, Enfield, EN2 7BX.

The Galli-Atkinsons are also still appealing for donations for the Livia Memorial Garden and they thanked everyone who had given a donation.

Capel Manor horticulturalcollege is giving plants and shrubs and student, Joanne Barrow, has offered to design the garden.
