ALAN Ayckbourn’s classic whodunnit comes to the Kenneth More Theatre next week, as the Redbridge Stage Company present It Could Be Any One Of Us.

Set in a typical remote country house on a textbook dark and stormy night, the play features the usual bunch of eccentric characters, who all have the motives and opportunity to commit murder most horrid.

With the task of getting to the bottom of the crime left to the rather inept resident detective expect the usual farce, but don’t expect the same conclusion every night. The company have planned multiple endings, so a different murderer will reveal their identity with each performance.

Director Lesley Curtis says: “Guessing who is the murderer is part of the fun of thrillers but with various permutations to consider this will make things more tricky than usual.

“As an additional twist, we don’t even mind if the audience tells all their friends who the murderer was – it’ll be someone else next time!”

It Could Be Any One Of Us runs at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford, from Thursday, February 25 to Saturday, February 27, 7pm. Saturday matinee, 3pm. Tickets: 020 8553 4466
