KNOWN for taking pride in performing plays rarely produced by local actors, The Drama Workshop of Waltham Forest present Christopher Fry’s romantic comedy The Lady’s Not For Burning at The Forest Community Centre from Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14, 8pm.
Set in the little market town of Cool Clary in the spring of 1400, the play concerns Humphrey Devize who is planning his engagement to the beautiful Alizon Eliot.
Unfortunately, a disillusioned soldier and a woman accused of using witchcraft to turn a local man into a dog stands in the way of his celebrations.
All tickets must be booked in advance.
