Strategies to improve health, housing and police will be discussed at a public conference next Monday.
Residents are invited to attend "Tackling Inequality in Enfield - Building on our Achievements" at Highlands School, in Worlds End Lane, from 9.30am to 4pm, on February 15.
It was organised by Enfield Council, in partnership with health, police and other public services.
The day will include workshops that address the quality of services from the local authority, hospitals, doctors' surgeries, the police and Enfield Homes, which looks after housing on behalf of the council.
To attend this event contact equalities officer Martin Garnar on 0208 379 3113, or email martin.garnar@enfield.gov.uk.

By holding it on a Monday during working hours in remote, (i.e. logisticaly distant from rail or underground services) is hardly a credible invitation to Enfield residents working outside the borough, or indeed in less local parts of the Worlds End School area.
I'm sure that many of the major contributors to the Enfield coffers too will feel slightly bemused by the choice and location of this meeting especially as it's slogan is: "Tackling Inequality in Enfield - Building on our Achievements". (I'm already starting to feel inequal already).
"Come on Enfield"; if you really intend to discuss this issue in a truly open environment please offer a more realistic event.
