THE EPPING Forest District boasts an interesting and colourful past. One particularly exciting period was during the Iron Age and Roman occupation. Tony O’Connor, Epping Forest District Museum Officer, will give a talk on the subject at St Johns Church, on the corner of Church Lane and Leytonstone High Street tonight.
Tickets are free to Leyton and Leytonstone Historical Society members and £1.50 for visitors.
