TWO managers from an Enfield car dealership have cycled from London to Paris to raise money for a children's hospice.
Daemon Pink and Nick Hunton, who work for Dagenham Motors, on Great Cambridge Road, completed the 300-mile trip in four days.
And thanks to generous donations from friends and colleagues, the pair raised £3,200 for Keech Cottage children's hospice, which supports families across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Daemon said: "We were thrilled with how much money we raised for the charity.
"The trip itself was amazing, and it was a fantastic experience cycling around the Arc de Triomphe and up the Champs-Elysées to the finale at the Eiffel Tower."
Nick added: "All the training paid off, and although it was tough going at times, we're really pleased with how we coped.
"We think we're going to give it another go next year."
The money will help Luton-based Keech Cottage, which depends on over £2million of donations per year to help children with terminal and life-limiting conditions.
