International star of film and stage Greta Scacchi, takes centre stage in Terence Rattigan's searing portrayal of the power of obsessive love in The Deep Blue Sea.

Hester is the daughter of a clergyman and wife of a high-court judge. Freddie is young and charming, a hero of the war but struggling to cope with civilian life.

Their affair is explosive and passionate. However, Freddie is incapable of responding to the depth of her love for him, Hester can see only one way out Directed by Edward Hall, one of the finest directors of his generation, the production hits the West End for a limited 12 week run.
