A man in his 30s has died after being stabbed near a tube station.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called at 9.47pm on Saturday (June 9) to Green Lanes, Haringey, near Turnpike Lane station.
The man, whom police believe they know the identity of, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are in the process of informing next of kin and formal identification and a post-mortem examination will take place later.
Cordons are in place at the crime scene and surrounding road, including Ducketts Common, where police believe the victim may have been stabbed.
There has been no arrest.
A murder investigation has been launched and witnesses or anyone with information that may assist officers, are urged to call police on 101 quoting reference 7472jun09.
