An architect has received formal recognition for her groundbreaking research.

Dr Teri Okoro became a Fellow Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects on Thursday February 1.

The award was given for her work designing LifeTime Homes, promoting architecture as a career to young people and volunteer roles.

Dr Okoro says she is ‘delighted to be officially recognised alongside other distinguished individuals at the Royal Institute of British Architects’.

She is the Founder and Director of Winchmore Hill-based TOCA, which is an architecture and project management consultancy.

It is an accredited Royal Institute of British Architects chartered practice.

In 2017 TOCA celebrated 25 years with an exhibition.
