A man killed in a crash on the M25 in Enfield has been named by police.

Daniel Dayalan, 60, of Hayes, Middlesex was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly before 10pm on Saturday September 23.

Mr Dayalan had been driving a Vauxhall Corsa near junction 24 clockwise when the crash, which involved two other vehicles, happened.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

Two others were injured in the incident, including a 55-year-old woman who was Mr Dayalan’s passenger.

She remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 62-year-old woman who was driving a Range Rover was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and taken to an east London police station where she remains in custody.

The driver of the third vehicle, a Ford Focus was not injured.
