A talking newspaper which continues to help blind people keep updated with the latest headlines has thanked the organisers of a festival.
Enfield Talking Newspaper took part in the Palmers Green Festival, raising awareness about the work they do.
They praised organisers, Philip Dawson and his team of volunteers, for putting on a good show.
ETN ran a tombolla stall at the community event for the first time raising £250 that will be used to buy replacement memory sticks.
Memory sticks regularly go missing in the post meaning that blind and partially sighted listeners have not been able to catch up on news.
The Enfield Talking Newspaper was the first charity of its kind in the UK, launching in 1961.
Volunteers run and manage the enterprise that relies on donations to keep going.
