We've made it to the middle of the week. It's going to be a nice day weather wise, but watch out for the traffic and train delays...


It’s going to be a pretty warm day in east London. Things will start off cloudy to begin with, but expect the sun to start peeking through at 11am. The clouds will clear at around 3pm with temperature highs of 22 degrees.


There are severe delays on London Overground between Stratford and Clapham Junction/Richmond due to an “operating incident”. Tickets are being accepted on Underground and bus services.

Delays of up to 20 minutes and some cancellations on Greater Anglia between Liverpool Street and Ipswich, between Liverpool Street and Norwich and between Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria due to points failure between Manor Park and Ilford.

Tickets being accepted on C2C Southend services. Affecting the main line in and out of London and likely to be a problem all day.

A lot of Southend and Southminster services will only run as far as Shenfield.


Jessel Drive in Debden closed both ways due to police incident between Colebrook Lane / Castell Road and Burney Drive. Traffic is coping well. The road has been closed along Jessel Green near to The Cottage Loaf pub since 23:45. Diversion: Bus route 20 is affected

Temporary traffic lights and roadworks on A123 Cranbrook Road at Gants Hill Crescent. From 8:00 on the 14 to 17:00 on 28 August.

Very slow traffic on A406 North Circular Road Southbound at A12 Eastern Avenue (Redbridge Roundabout).

Usual delays on A13 Westbound before A1153 Lodge Avenue from Rainham and the M25. Travel time is 14 minutes.
