Wednesday is here and as we reach the halfway point of the week, it appears that winter, for now at least, is finally over.

Commuters in and around London should have a relatively trouble-free journey to work this morning and temperatures are beginning to heat up too.

Here is your traffic, travel and weather update for February 15:

Travel

An earlier signal problem at Leytonstone has now been resolved, meaning commenters on the Central line should not see any delays on their way into work this morning.

A good service is also running on all other London Underground and Overground lines.

Traffic

One lane is closed and traffic is moving slowly on the M11 southbound between Junction 7 (A414) and Junction 6 (M25) due to an accident. Drivers are experiencing delays of around 10 minutes.

Traffic is also heavy in the usual hotspots, such as Southbound on the M11 between Junction 5 (Loughton) and Junction 4 (North Circular) and on the A12 approaching Redbridge Roundabout.

Weather

Spring finally appears to be on its way and we will see the same mild weather we did yesterday across London and Essex today, with highs of around 11 degrees Celsius.

However, there are likely to be a few showers on the way- wet weather can be expected from mid-afternoon up until around 6pm.
